Gris Gris Beach is located in the deep south of Mauritius near a small town called Souillac. It is popular attraction due to its rough sea and big waves crashing against the cliffs, which make it a great place to take beautiful pictures. About 600 meters to the east of Gris Gris Beach is the ‘Roche Qui Pleure’ (The Weeping Rock) where the constant squashing of waves against the flanks of the cliff gives the impression that the cliff is crying.
